After receiving the goods, check the individual parts of your delivery for completeness and integrity using the enclosed parts list. You should only start assembling or commissioning fitters, electricians, etc. when you have all parts complete and undamaged – if necessary, only after a subsequent delivery.
If you have ordered from one of our numerous retailers, please contact them if you have any questions about the delivery date.
Unfortunately, Karibu can only give you information about this if you have also ordered directly from us.
The delivery date given by us is only an approximate period. The actual delivery date will be communicated directly by our carrier before delivery upon notification. This means that you will be contacted by the forwarding company at the telephone number provided to arrange the delivery date.
You can find your assembly instructions in the package or online at www. Karibu.de in the corresponding article under the tab "Assembly instructions".
If the goods are delivered to you with visible external damage, you can of course refuse to accept them at your own discretion.
If you decide to accept the goods, check all components and document the part numbers (ID numbers) of the defective and missing components.
You can find the ID numbers of the parts in the parts list in the enclosed assembly instructions.
Then send the photos and corresponding ID numbers of the defective components to service@karibu.deor via our Complaint form – it is important that you include the S/N (serial number) and P/N (product number) in your email.
You can find the S/N and P/N on the packaging film of the goods and the included "Complaint Form for Serial Number"/your warranty certificate.
Please note that the email must not exceed 10MB. Tip: Compress your image material in advance. After successful receipt of the e-mail, you will receive a confirmation of receipt.
Hint: A subsequent delivery in the event of a refusal of acceptance takes more time than a mere complaint about defective or missing components.

We recommend using Screed flooring, tiles or untreated wood , as these materials are particularly suitable. In this case, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the floor directly for more information.

Questions about products
No, the wooden roof panels themselves are not waterproof. In any case, you need an appropriate roof covering.
For gable roofs, we recommend either Roof shingles or a Bitumen roofing membrane . For monopitch and flat roofs, we recommend the self-adhesive roofing film .
Of course, this does not apply to our trapezoidal sheets, as is the case with our carports, metal or hybrid houses. These are waterproof from the factory.
Yes, we generally recommend a coat of paint for all natural products. You can find out exactly what the wood protection looks like for your product in our Wood protection guide .
We recommend at least one paving foundation. It is important that the product stands straight and does not sag to one side!
For instructions, feel free to check out our Foundation guide at.
You can find the foundation plans on the item page in the gallery or under the "Product Information".
After you have configured your items with the selection process (sauna with/without roof wreath, with/without stove etc.)
(Garden house with/without extension, paint, etc.) on the one hand, the corresponding foundation plan is displayed in the gallery or a data sheet with foundation plan for the respective article is displayed under "Product information".

In our sauna assembly instructions, you will also find the positioning of the cable duct through which the wiring is routed from the stove to the power source under the points of the stove positioning. Further details can be found in the enclosed sauna products information booklet under "Exemplary cable laying". Please have the stove connected by an electrician!
To get your Karibu sauna up and running, all that's missing are the right cables? Then choose the right cables and you can enjoy your sauna oasis at home.
- 5-core 2.5mm² silicone cable : This cable is used for connecting power to the control unit. However, the stove with integrated control is an exception. In this case, the cable is used to connect the high-voltage current directly to the furnace.
- 5-core 2.5mm² silicone cable : This cable is specifically designed for connecting a Finnish oven to the control unit.
- 7-core 2.5mm² silicone cable : For connecting an organic oven to the control unit, this cable is the right choice.
HUUM Control Unit
Although a humidity sensor is already provided for in the controller's software, the sensor itself is not yet available. The sensor is under development, but it is not yet possible to say when it will be ready. A sensor from another manufacturer cannot be connected, as the measurement methodology is different for each sensor manufacturer and therefore the measured values would not fit.
Currently, the humidity adjustment runs in steps: 1-10, with (1=10% intensity...). To prevent it from getting too hot and too humid in the cab at the same time, the evaporator can only be switched on when the target temperature set on the control panel is below 70°C.
With the new update – as soon as it comes, the humidity will then be displayed in %.
The system is currently running on clock, like all systems that do not have a humidity sensor installed: For example, I set 30% humidity (level 3), and at certain intervals the evaporator runs again and again for a minute. This creates a calculated humidity of ~30% in the cabin. This is how all controllers work, regardless of the manufacturer, if no humidity sensor is installed (which is usually optional).
No, unfortunately this is not possible here. The light only goes on or off.
The query is used to arm the sauna for remote starting. This means that you close the door, the controller asks whether the remote start should be activated, then you can go and start the sauna remotely via the app. In the meantime, if the door is opened while you are away, the remote start will turn off and the sauna cannot be started via the app. Otherwise, it could be that e.g. children go to the sauna, e.g. a towel is left on the stove, the sauna is then started via app and the whole sauna catches fire.
In principle, you can connect a fan to the controller, connect it via the programming "Door open, runs for 20 minutes". However, you can't connect the light to the controller, otherwise the fan would always work when the light is switched on (unfortunately, there is currently no separate connection for light and fan, only either or). If you are using this version, you would have to install a light switch and control the light via it.
Here is a connection diagram from HUUM especially for our organic oven:
