For the long-term use of your wood, Karibu provides protection of the high-quality raw material with the coloured sealant. For this purpose, the industrial and high-tech Karibu PAINT SYSTEM was developed, which saves both a lot of money and time and protects the wood for years to come.

The Karibu paints used are environmentally friendly because they are solvent-free, odourless and free of all known problematic substances. They are continuously audited by independent institutes. In addition, the paint application and UV drying provide sustainable moisture protection. This protection against weathering, pests and mechanical damage can only be achieved if it is done before the walls are installed. Subsequently treated wood quickly exhibits the well-known pinstripe effect when the climate fluctuates. Here, unprotected areas become visible through the "working" of the wood. These are exposed to the weather and pests without protection.

Protected elements, on the other hand, are:

• water-repellent
• Maximum UV protection
• open-pored
• Moisture-regulating
• and lightfast

They also impress with particularly uniform surfaces. The value of each individual profile and thus of the entire wood product is determined by the Karibu color system .
