Since 1889, we at Steinbrügge & Berninghausen have been processing first-class wood from the forests of Northern Europe. At that time, wooden sailing shipbuilding was in its heyday at Bremen's shipyards and the demand for high-quality wood was great.

Since the ships could not obtain a replacement for damaged parts on their often week-long voyages on the high seas, the material used had to be reliable under all circumstances. The time of the great sailors is long gone. Steinbrügge & Berninghausen developed into a modern planing mill for wall and floor timber.

Since 1992, we have been developing and constructing solid wood equipment and garden sheds in our factories in Klosterfelde (Brandenburg) and Bremen. The products have changed over time, but the high quality standards from the Wilhelminian era have remained.

Careful control in our factory
All components of the houses are prefabricated with great precision. Between the different processing stations, the elements pass through different control stations. With state-of-the-art technology and an expert eye, we ensure that only flawless products leave our factory.

With a clear conscience, we give a 5-year warranty on the durability of the structure, as well as 5 years on rust penetration (metal components) and 2 years on the Karibu paint system.
