The garden cabinet – the space-saving alternative for outdoor use
You own a small garden, a balcony or a garden Terrace ? Or you want to use the storage space of your existing Wooden garden house without much effort? Then a garden cabinet is just right for you. In the weatherproof cabinet for outdoor use, you can store garden tools and other utensils dry, safely and space-saving.
Storage space and order even for small gardens
Garden tools, plant soil, watering cans, flower pots, children's toys and barbecue accessories - there is a lot in the garden. However, you don't always need a large tool shed to store utensils. A garden cabinet requires little floor space, but offers plenty of storage space and is therefore also suitable, for example, for a place in a narrow or winding garden, on the terrace or balcony. Depending on the model, the garden cabinet can be integrated harmoniously into the existing garden like a piece of jewellery. Whether free-standing or as an add-on cabinet - it is particularly compact, as the entire storage space inside can be used and does not have to be accessible as in a garden or garden room. Garden tool shed . Simply open the cupboard door and you have all the utensils at hand. Tip: Especially with the small organizers, the interior should be well organized, for example with shelves and devices for hanging.
Wooden garden cabinet – natural eye-catcher in the garden
A garden cabinet made of the renewable raw material wood is particularly ecological and fits harmoniously into the garden. Karibu garden cabinets are made of solid spruce wood. This type of wood is particularly suitable for outdoor use, as it absorbs only a small amount of water. However, natural wood must be pre-treated and regularly post-treated with wood protection for sufficient weather resistance. This is particularly important for free-standing cabinets in the garden. If you opt for a pre-treated model in the colours terra grey or chestnut red, this time-consuming wood care is no longer necessary. If the cabinet is protected, for example on a covered terrace, the maintenance effort is limited. Our wooden garden cabinets are available as a kit in system or log construction, so that you can assemble them yourself. The logs are inserted into each other in a tongue and groove system, while with the models in system construction you get walls and roof as finished elements. Please note the following: The wooden equipment cabinet should never be placed directly on wet floors, otherwise there is a risk that the feet or the subfloor will absorb water and the wood will rot over time. To prevent this, floor slabs or a foundation can be useful as a substrate. Alternatively, we will be happy to provide you with a professional installation service.
Considerations before buying a garden cabinet
When choosing your garden cabinet, you should think in advance about which tools and utensils you want to store. Depending on the size, construction and wall thickness, the prices for the models vary. Maybe you even need a tool shed? Also measure the desired location in advance to make sure that your chosen model fits optimally in its future place.
