Wooden pool construction types
Wooden pool construction: These are our different types of construction
All Karibu pools are made of pressure-impregnated round profile timber with double tongue and groove. The degree of boiler pressure impregnation is divided into different protection classes and varies depending on the type of construction.
The highest protection class 4 is provided by our rectangular pools or In-ground pools . They are installed at ground level and therefore require increased protection against moisture in the ground. Of course, they can also be placed in the garden without being embedded in the ground.
Practical : The Karibu Wooden pools have a hook-in piping, thanks to which the installation or replacement of the pool liner is child's play.
Log construction (plug-in and screw system)
In this design, the side walls (38 millimeters or 44 millimeters thick, depending on the model) are made up of individual planks that are simply plugged into each other during assembly. Thanks to state-of-the-art milling technology, tongue and groove sit perfectly on top of each other. The octagonal pools from Karibu in log construction are made of pressure-impregnated spruce wood.
Chromeline corner connections (plug-in and screw system)
This is a construction concept in which the corners of the pool are particularly protected with the help of the Chromeline. Thanks to the Chromeline corner joints, the pool not only gets a modern look, but also gains stability. The Chromeline and the pressure-impregnated wooden panels made of Nordic spruce are fastened with galvanised hexagonal wood screws. Of course, this pool also has a suspension piping.
The advantages of wooden pools with Chromeline corner joints at a glance
- Special protection of the connecting corners by the Chromeline corner connection and pressure-impregnated wooden panels made of Nordic spruce
- extra stability
- Particularly weather-resistant
