Child-friendly wood paint
What distinguishes a child-friendly wood paint? Of course, strong colors that turn every playhouse into an individual fairytale castle! If you want to paint a playhouse, however, not only the appearance plays a role, but also the safety. Compared to classic lacquer layers, the child-friendly wood paint does not flake off and therefore does not form sharp edges where children's hands could injure themselves.
Which glaze for the climbing frame?
Every child-friendly wood paint must combine two properties: opacity and wood protection. After all, you want to enjoy it for many years to come, for example when you have a Climbing frame . Which glaze is suitable for the climbing frame is determined by the quality. The Colour system offers high-coverage glazes for self-painting. The pigments of the paint for children's play equipment are absorbed into the outer layers of the wood and thus bond sustainably. The bright paint for children's play equipment is made on the basis of natural oils and is free of known pollutants, solvents and complex dryers.
Saliva-fast color
When children play on the climbing frame, they are in their very own world, they act naïvely and instinctively. This also brings them into close contact with the surfaces of the children's play equipment. Paint for children's playground equipment must therefore meet strict requirements. The ink systems consist of saliva-resistant paints that are absolutely harmless to children – even if components are absorbed through the skin or enter the stomach. This safety is confirmed by a test in accordance with DIN EN 71 – 3, the European standard for toy safety.
Paint the climbing frame
Today we're going to do it! There are basically two different ways to play the climbing frame. Painting is particularly easy if the climbing frame has not yet been built. This means that every place can be reached comfortably, without a ladder and acrobatics. The child-friendly paint for wood can also be applied to a built-up climbing frame. Smart colour combinations can be put into practice a little better in this way.
Painting the playhouse
Do you want to buy your new Playhouse ? This is very easy to do with the color system. In addition to the paint for children's play equipment, you will also need: - 1 pair of gloves - brush - stirring rod to stir the paint. If you know which wood glaze the children like best, there is still the question of the amount required for our child-friendly wood paint. Fortunately, we indicate for each product how many paint buckets are needed for painting.
Painting the sandpit
The sandpit is one of the most popular classics among outdoor playground equipment - for this reason alone, it has earned a high-quality coat of paint. If you want to paint the sandpit, we recommend a protective glaze. In contrast to varnish, a glaze avoids unsightly cracks that cause the wood to swell and require repairs after a certain time. A colorful wood glaze is much easier to use for sandpit painting. The surfaces of the wood do not need to be sanded, the child-friendly wood paint eventually penetrates the outer layers of the wood and thus protects the wood from moisture.
